Nominations Update

I’m currently caught up in reviewing nominations (as of 8 PM CST February 16th) and I though now would be a good time to remind everyone of the RPF policy. This exchange only always RPF of people that have been dead for at least 200 years. RPF of people who do not meet this qualification will be rejected. On the topic of rejections, all non-RPF rejections were due to the nomination being a incorrectly formatted crossover paring (which have been added to the tag set manually) or a duplicate. If you have any questions about nominations or notice any errors in the tag set, feel free to comment below.

Hi, I just thought I'd let you know that under Supernatural you have the same pairing nommed twice:

I was wary about nominating pairings in the MCU because I know most of them have waaay too much fic written to be rarepairs (less than 1,000 fics on AO3). In fact, I checked for my favourite MCU pairing that I wanted to nom and it was over 1000 fics by a fair bit. However, I see now that James "Rhodey" Rhodes/Tony Stark (which has nearly 2000 fics) and Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanov (which has close to 5000 fics) have been accepted, so now I'm not sure if I've misunderstood something?

You haven’t. The power was out at my house due to weather, and I still wanted to review nominations. I didn’t have the time or data to check every relationship, like I had been doing before the power went out, and was assuming that everyone read the rules and nominated accordingly. I see that was a mistake, and as the power is back on, I will be reviewing all relationships in the tag set to make sure they qualify. James "Rhodey" Rhodes/Tony Stark and Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanov have been removed from the tag set.

Thanks for replying and for looking into that. I'm so sorry to hear you're one of the many folks without power - I have friends suffering the same thing and I know it's awful. If I can be of any help with checking through the noms for these kinds of anomalies, please let me know. I'd be more than happy to be of assistance :)

Thanks for the offer. It’s been very hard, but things are starting to get better. I’ve managed to look the nominations over once and believe I’ve gotten all the unqualified ones (I will be posting a list of the deleted nominations soon) but you are welcome to double check if you want to.

Glad things are better where you are now :) It seems like you've got the noms/tag set all sorted now, but my offer still stands if you have any more problems and need a hand with checking stuff at a later date :)
