Nominations and Sign-Up Information

Here is a bit more information about the nomination and sign-up process. 

Nominations will open on February 15th, 12:00 AM CST. Once open, you will have the option of nominating up to 10 fandoms, up to 20 relationships per fandom. For your nomination to be accepted, it must be disambiguated and of a romantic pairing of two or more characters that have less than 1,000 works on AO3. Crossover parings should be nominated under 'Crossover Fandom' and formated like this: Character A (Fandom A)/Character B (Fandom B). 

Sign-ups will open on  February 22nd, 12:00 AM CST. In order to sign-up, you are required to make three request and offers each, and are allowed to make up to ten. Fandoms can only be requested/offered once. You must request between 1 and 20 relationships per fandom and offer between 2 and 20. You will also have to option to request/offer all relationships. You will also be required to select one of two additional tags that indicate whether you are over or under 18, so that adults that would like explict content will not be paired with minors.

what's disambiguated? Like already in the drop down menu after choosing a fandom?

Disambiguated means that the fandom has been put in parentheses after the relationship to distinguish it from similar relationships. For example: Chase Stein/Gertrude Yorkes (Runaways TV) instead of just Chase Stein/Gertrude Yorkes, so that it is differentiated for Chase Stein/Gertrude Yorkes (Marvel 616).

If we need to offer 2-20 relationships per fandom - what about fandoms with only one relationship nominated? Will selecting "any" cover that case?

Are ampersand relationships allowed?

Yes, it will.

Not for this round. It is possible that they will be allowed in future rounds.

Editing Nominations

Hi,
I submitted my nominations a few hours ago, and some have been approved. I went back to edit one that has not yet been approved, but can't seem to do so. The problem seems to be that, since some of my nominations have been approved, I can't edit the ones pending approval. Is this right, or am I doing something wrong?

You should be able edit nominations that haven’t been approved. AO3 glitches sometimes, maybe try again? Sorry I can’t be more helpful.
